Sing, Sing, Sing

(Løvheim)

I sang, sang, sang
when my world was all in grey
When uncontrollable flames were in my way
I hummed when the ceiling fell, for the rubble around my feet
I did a strangled song when I waded out too deep

Do you hear, hear, hear me singing in the back?
A serenade or something made to look like that
I belted out, scratched and screamed, for you to see me too
Won’t do a single song until the day you do

I know how to make you believe,
Just raise your arms up high, and I’m sure you’ll be received
In my head, we’re already good
Now make me sing, sing, sing, if you would

On cold, blue mornings, and in a lonely night
Until seasons change, I’m not moving left or right
I’ve settled in for the long haul, I’ve settled on this tune
Will you lean my way, if I howl or croon?

I know how to make you believe,
Just raise your arms up high, and I’m sure you’ll be received
In my head, we’re already good
Now make me sing, sing, sing, if you would
